What is Reiki?

What is Reiki?

Reiki is a form of energy healing that originated in Japan in the early 20th century that uses the life force energy we already have flowing in our body.  It is practiced all over the world and has become very popular in mainstream society.

In a Reiki session, the practitioner channels this life force energy (ki or chi) by gently placing their hands on the client, or hovering with their hands above various areas to allow the flow of energy to go where it is needed.  Reiki doesn't treat just the symptoms, it aims for the root cause.  The client must be open and willing to allow the flow of energy to make shifts where necessary to rebalance the body's own energy.  This is when healing occurs and physical, mental, emotional and spiritual balance returns.

Reiki is a complementary therapy with other standard medical techniques, in addition to healing modalities such as acupuncture, massage, craniosacral therapy, chiropractic, etc.

Ultimately, the client becomes their own inner healer while the Reiki Practitioner is the clear vessel from which the energy flows from, and together, they can reach a level where they can manifest and restore harmony and balance.

We all need support.  Whether you are a caregiver, dealing with personal life and or health challenges, Reiki life force energy

can help.

Reiki has different purposes, based on the individual's needs. No two Reiki sessions are the same. My clients are amazed at what is revealed and felt to them each time and are encouraged to go with the flow Since Reiki is a very savvy energy and knows where to go.  Reiki sessions vary from 30 min. to 60 min. depending on what is being addressed.  Once you set an intention, the journey has begun.

Get ready to clear emotional blocks, get rid of stagnant energy, raise your vibration, and strengthen your intuition.
